Future modern Healthcare Systems will provide Real World Data (RWD) and Real World Evidence from the setup by interaction between all parties. These systems are currently not existent and there is no country where such a system has been established.

Evolution of Real World Data

The diagram illustrates how a modern healthcare ecosystem connects all stakeholders: doctors, patients, insurance providers, the pharmaceutical industry, and lifestyle services — with therapy at the centre and a shared real world data foundation underneath.

• Doctor (1) — practitioner / physician — orders treatments from industry
• Industry (2) — pharmaceutical companies — applies therapies
• Group of patients (3) — patients with the same disease — provide evidence via real world data
• Therapy (4) — the central node connecting all parties
• Insurance (5) — health insurance — receives invoices from lifestyle services, receipts from therapy
• Lifestyle / Fitness (7) — invoices insurance and interacts with therapy
• Real World Data / Real World Evidence (8) — the shared knowledge base fed by therapy outcomes
